Do you love the sounds and music of videogames? Do you fancy yourself as a songwriter or composer? Inspired by your favourite game, create and record an original song soundtrack or jingle that shows off your talents.
It will need to be 1 to 3 minutes in length. If you chose to record a cover version of a favourite song, make sure you inject it with an exciting new approach – make it your own! Entries have closed.
The results are in! A huge 8-bit congrats to our 'Sonic Sensations' competition winner, Nathan Anthony, for his 'Syrup Quest' song and to runner-up, Nicole Bar, for her 'The Human Race' track.
It was a tough decision, but our competition judge and game composer Steve Fawkner said the winning song was "A good fun track. The samples and sequences reminded me of all the great old 8-bit games I played as a kid, but put together in a clean new exciting way."
Thank you to all our talented entrants!
